Ok... i've been sitting on a pair of stage 1 COMP cams (262s) now for several months because i didn't want to pay out the ass for installation.. i hate spending money on labor!! i've decided that I want to install the cams myself and become more familiar with own engine so that i can begine doing things myself.. i figure if i can do this i can do anything!

i've noticed a few people on the forum that have done the swap and was just wondering if i could get any pointers.. or possibly step by step instructions ha..hah..

i found this internet writeup which is pretty specific and explains the swap pretty well.. however under "SUPPLIES NEEDED" it says i need: cam bolts, washers, and retainers.. i did not get any of this. I simply have 2 cam shafts... so before i get started, am i missing something?

any advice/pointers beforei start would be appreciated.. if not ill let u know how it went! this will be a good time to add some cool lookin valve covers as well.. heh
