actually bone stock they run 13.9-14.0 they dont launch well apparently so their power dont come in till 3500 or so, but i was told that i would need more than that, because them cars are heavy as hell soo i was just wondering

i have heard 4:10s and drag radials do wonders for fox bodies...dont see why it wouldnt for the snake either...

Is the car an auto or manual?
If auto get you a stall, maybe shift kit
if manual get a Steeda Tri-ax or similar shifter.

No SVT Cobra was ever made with an Auto. The transissions are very weak, even in the GT's with MUCH less power.

12's are possible but youre gonna want it chipped or a programmer to take full advantage of the power. i was running 13.5's all night long in my dads 97 Cobra. 2.0 60 ft's with street tires, cattless x-pipe with flows. Pro 5.0 shifter and a CAI. I think with a good driver and a good launch you can see high 12's. 4.10's will be a good choice, but even a 4.30 would be good for these cars, as they LOVE the high rpm range. So the quicker you get them up there, the better they respond.

Good luck
