Stock Fuel Pump Good to? 01 SVT

I think... well I know, we're running out of fuel on a car that we are doing. I'm at about 420RWHP on the 44lb injectors (they might even be smaller ) and what I believe is the stock fuel pump.

We are thinking about swapping out the pump when we do the injectors just to be safe in the long haul but I'm curious, how much can you make on the stock pump? Whats a good upgrade?

TIA

Nick

Are you running a Boost a pump? I would be surprised if you had a stock pump in there. You can also datalog fuel pump duty cycle and get a good idea how close you are to maxing it out. I know 42 # injectors will take you to ~500rwhp and then they're done.

Really on the returnless system the best bet it 03/04 Cobra tank and pumps, you can get GT pumps and a modified fpdm, and have plenty of fuel.

I'm not sure what they are at as far as numbers go in Livelink...
I'll have them check the pump duty cycle next...

thanks for the info

My guess is the stock pump probably starts to become a problem at around 350-360 whp... At that point i'd recommend at least an SVT focus pump
