I put down 435 hp and 401 tq to the wheels so around 500 on motor. Its a 2v too. Only had it bout two months and I usually short shift it, dont need that much power 99% of the time.

Stock 2v motor. Original tune was 385/370 but it was running a little lean at 6k rpm. Current tune is 370/377. This is not the most horsepower but I've been running at this level for just over a year or 25,000 miles without any problems whatsoever. I drive agressively and I shift pretty close to redline. The motor has accidently been to around 6500 rpms twice where I'm probably making 10 lbs of boost.
I have to admit. I like those 3v numbers.

Well the rods and pistons are the same for GT's and pre-03/04 Cobras but highest hp I've seen was from a guy name Brian Bradford. Had a 98 yellow cobra with an S-trim that made 603rwhp at 19psi. He was the posterchild of MJS chips. He eventually put a window through the block and rebuilt it.

I popped my stock shortblock right around the 420 mark, but that was after an excessive amount of nitrous had been through it.
