Tuners and Chips....my thoughts
Just incase anyone needs another opinion. I purchased a SCT 4 bank chip for my car. I did this because my driving varies from 400 mile hwy trips to playing a little, and I wasn't sure if I had the technical knowledge to adjust settings on my own. HIND SITE..... I would highly recommend the flash programer, unless you are running NOS. The other thing I discovered through much headache.... find a local tuner and let them handle the tunes. The mail order tunes are "canned" for "most" cars, and if you need adjustments, its a real pain. I got more accomplished for $50 and a couple hours at a shop down the street than I did for $70 and about 5 weeks of shipping back and waiting on a return. Hope this helps someone......

That's the # 1 reason why i will not tune a car with a chip (if its 96 and newer). Also, not all email tunes are the typical "canned" tunes you hear about. Email Tunes Explained
