im looking at a 96 gt auto (

) here are the parts im looking at buying, not necessarily going to buy them all but can you guys w/ 4.6 experience tell me which ones would be the best to buy now?

shorty headers
o/r h pipe
tuner
3.73s
70mm tb/plenum
control arms
nitrous
555r's

i also want to buy heads and cams but i don't know where to start w/ 4.6s. thanks in advance guys.

lol lts are a bitch to install and i want to go w/ 3.73s b/c this is a daily drive/occasional pass car. which of those parts would get me the best bang for the buck? looking at 1800-2000 budget

it's a non pi GT. you will want 4:10's lol trust me.
the gears or the nitrous would be the best bangs.

yes PI means performance improved.

for your other question even though it is not on the list I would invest in a pi swap which involves the heads, cams, and intake.

what am i looking at times wise on non-pi nitrous, 4.10s, exhuast, nitrous, tb/plenum vs. pi swap, 4.10s, exhaust and nitrous?

I think there are a set of heads in the for sale section cheap. try your local craigslist too.

lol its an auto... whats a good brand of heads/cams also a good place to look at parts like new parts? i couldnt find anything on american muscle or texas hot rods.

yea i have both, even though the military is kinda wearing down the latter lol. do you know anything about patriot heads on a 4.6? ive heard bad things about them on 5.0s

lol o/r x and LTs = way better now if it were a 5 oh go h pipe. and a good tune for ur auto.

you mite want to get that B&M shift improver module...its pretty cheap and it helps out those autos...
