Possible to install a 04 Cobra engine in a 99 base?
The title pretty much says it all. I'm curious if it would be possible to install a 2004 Cobra engine in a 1999 base. If it is, what would be involved, and what additional parts would be needed to be changed/added/removed.
The reason I ask is because I have the ability to pickup 2004 Cobra engine on the cheap, and I have friends that would be willing to do all the work and have access to all the tools to do something like this. Thanks. |

You can out the Cobra motor in. Depending on what you have will depend on what you will need. You will need a computer, wire harness, trans mount, maybe motor mounts. Not sure if you have to change out the pedal assembly or not. I am sure you will need more then that, but those are the basics.
