How easy would the 03 navigator 5.4L DOHC 4V engine slip into a 04 stang? Im talking clearence problems, am i going to have to hammer in any walls of the engine bay. Ive heard thats its basically the same engine so im just curious about the possibilities here?

BLitzed my buddy was actually seriously thinking about it but i changed his mind. They are a nice cheap DOHC motor.... but even the ealier DOHC cobra motos provide more Hp than this motor from the factory. If you do chooose to go this way you will need a Cobra intake setup for it because of clearance issues. BUt other than that wiring harness' and PCM's too.

You'll have to give it some hood clearance, it's taller.

i almost bought 1 but decided not because of power for the $ and a lot of work. you can cet a lot of power out of the 4.6 and it may be more than what you want or need. you know the rule it takes $$$; how fast do you want to go? if you want to be different, have the torque, have the money, then ok it up to you.

They fit, they make a swap kit i believe, friend of mine has one in his 97 mustang, had to get a cowl hood, but other than that it was kinda easy he said.
