What to swap
Hey, my dad has a new gt c/s.. And im gonna start drivin soon. I want a muscle car. But, i cant just have something ... ordinary. So i want a 6 cylinder mustang and swap it out with like a 351c or something. are their any 6 cylinder years that you can easily swap with a 351 or bigger? thanks a lot

i've dropped a GT motor in my V6 with no problem.. so i'd imagine anything that will fit in a GT will fit in the v6 but dont quote me on that one.make sure you build the rear of course so it wont shatter under the added stress

well, i don't much about anything, but one way to make sure the engine will fit is get a GT engine off of the model, v6 mustang that your getting. ie. if you get a 96 v6, look for a 96-98 GT motor, that way you can take the motor mounts and wiring harness and such off and not have to worry about any fabrication or any headaches, and that way you'll know it'll fit. but anyone who knows more then i could tell you better. but thats what i would figure if i wanted to swap a v6 to v8. good luck with the swap bro.

If you want to go that route go for a fox body (87-93)...Its the easiest...The 94-95 is not bad either...
Your better off just finding a V8 car to begin with... |
