ok i got my new short block just about an hour ago! heres a few ics of it still in th crate and i will get some more once we get it all unpacked and put on an engine stand!!

it's the dss 5.0 sotrker super pro modular! its got 21cc max quench it balanced at .01 grams and blueprinted in 36 different places. it's rated to handle 1200 hp. its got the stage 20 cnc block. h-beam rods, main stud girdle, and will be topping it off with sage 3 patriot heads and stage 3 comp cams. im running the procharger pisc with 12 psi but i think i will prolly be switching over to twin turbos or maybe and f1a race blower!

well i ordered it about a month ago and paid as i got th money! (they actually do this pretty neat). but when i made my final payment it was here in a day and a half!

is this with forged pistons? just curious what is the final damage cost for the shortblock and heads?

ITS COMPLETELY FORGED. THE SHORTBLOCK WAS 4300 AND THE HEADS ARE 1600 AHIPED TO MY DOOR AND THE CAMS ARE 600 TO MY DOOR

EDIT: ive decided to not go the 2v route as i can make a lot more power a whole lot easier on 4v heads and cams. and im gonna stick with the same blower for now untill i can afford the twin turbo kit i want badly!

gary: i got the engine from d.s.s racing.. orange. i still have not gotten it assembled. i am still trying to find some 03-04 cobra heads and cams and then it will be go time and as soon as i also get some time off to work on it. im gonna ut the motor and all that in and i think swtuning out of okc is going to tune it. i might take it down to hpp in dallas but i dont know yet. this guy in okc, i have heard nothing but great things about what he can do with his tuning skills. anyways cyall later.
