Hey guys im sure you remeber me my name used to be brianzeke007 i had alot of buddies on here but a couple motnhs ago i sold my sixer and got a GT and i was just wondering what you guys think of the new ride.....im mostly going to post in the sixer section because like i said i know alot of you guys and always had fun in this section ....

Please i take criticism well so any comments you want to make go ahead even if there bad i like to see my flaws so i could fix them......and by the way yes i know i need lowering springs im working on it but im in no rush!!

Get some smoked or blackout tails, lowering springs, and tint the windows, a hoodscoop wouldnt hurt. Nice car though man :]

nice car. it looks good. imo, the interior looks kinda bland though. maybe get a trim package or something to make it look a little more interesting?

haha well your right about the year ago part....i bought the v6 just about a year ago when i was talking to you guys but it was atlantic blue and it wasent a vert but it had exactly 100,000 miles on it when i sold it which i know isent too bad but why worry about having to soon change parts...i needed something with less miles and i found this GT witch a guy i know was selling with just 27K on it for just 9 GRAND!! so i jumped on it as fast as i could and i fell in love with it...its got a clean carfax and he wasent a smoker or anything so the inside was mint...He bought the GT and drove it around for about a year then decided he wanted a corvette so he garaged it for a couple years...the day i saw that it was for sale i went to him and put a down payment on it and he told me the same day he put it up for sale, he had 6 people call him that day including me....THEN i had people offering to buy the car for me! One guy actually called me and offered me 12K for it but i turned it down...in the paper i see my car going for 13K so even 12 wouldent have been bad...I mean yes that would have been a 3K profit right there but i was nervous about finding another car like that meaning 5sp-black- non vert ( i hate convertibles).... haha so yea i lucked out....but i loved my sixer man i was sad selling it. But its not too bad because the person i sold it to was my best friend who lives on the next block from me so i see it everyday. But even now that i have a gt , i know alot of guys will but i will NEVER in my life put down a 6er man. I mean even though the difference between my 6er and my GT is rediculous i loved that car man. It was quick and never gave me one problem. The only reason i like my GT better is because of the power. I thought my v6 was fast but compared to this car its nuts. Anyone who has even drivin a GT knows what im talking about. When i take my friends for rides and step on it alittle i scare the shit out of them because when you punch it it like sucks your whole body into the seat till you hit the end of 3rd. To tell you the truth it even scares the shit out of me. I didnt think it would be much of a difference going from 190hp-310hp but wow. And since my exhaust is so loud everyone i see wants to race. I have a couple of wins under my belt now. I raced a type s and won. Even though i beat it by a couple car lengths that car is pretty quick. I DESTROYED a cobalt ss supercharged. I beat a cadillac cts with a sport box (around 277 hp). And my most proud of all an STI....We raced twice, the first time was from a stop and off of the line those cars are like rocketships so he beat me by about 2 cars...The second race i told him from a 5mph roll and i got him by about half a car....There is no chance in hell of beating them from a dead stop but from a roll i got him and boy did i have a smile on my face the wholeeeeee dayyyy haha....[/i]

sounds and looks nice man..... i wish i could have gotten an older gt than my v6..... it sux parts are to expensive for my ride.... but ill be getting and exhaust soon enough now that ive gotten my dad talked into doing it

just depends on how much a custom one will cost around here but ill have to keep my cats for now until my warranty runs out

you're really lucky with a find like that man. I bought my sixer around last november, but I only got it because it was 7K. A guy up in the northern burbs of chicago was selling his son's 01 GT because he wanted a pickup for his new job. that thing was crazy. it was a 5-spd, interior trim, and a custom sound system with two 12's fabbed into the rear seats.

he wanted 9K for it because I was the first one to call him for the ad, but my dad didn't want me to get a GT because of the extra 2k, it not being through a dealer, and stuff like that, so I had to turn him down.

I'm really kicking myself now because I remembered I had some money in the bank, which would;ve covered the difference between my dad and the extra money.

enjoy it bro. even though I'm happy as hell that I have a mustang, I'd still rather have that GT :/

I see it like a lot of people who I know that have GT's think their car is the best. In fact I know a few with Sixes that think they are the best. But having a Six myself, I think it would be a little more fun to mod, kind of a project car. My goal is to one day beat a GT. I have a while to go :p

But that is a sweet car. I love black GT's.
