Logo Help

Alright well since I can't use photoshop anymore I come to you guys for help with a logo for my forum.

Where it says Speak Easy is what I would like to change. If somone could come up with a nice logo that would flow nicely with that format it would be greatly appreciated. Oh and the background for it is transparant. So you don't have to try to make to mimic that background.

The request wasn't very clear on what you wanted to change it to.
Did you want different text besides 'SpeakEasy'?

Here's what I made in all of three minutes...
I just didn't know if it is even remotely close to what you had in mind so I didn't want to spend alot of time on it until I found out.

Those are good. I like the 3rd one that you made saj, but in a blue to match would be awesome.

Awesome. Thats perfect cuz I can't do anything with it tonight. My girlfriend wnats me to head back up to my school for some chorus thing. I have nothing else to do and it gets me out of the house for a little while.

i was having the same problem earlier. Don't save it through Save for web. Instead save it through the normal save as option and choose uniform.

edit n/m i got it, i had to go to custom instead of uniform and change the white box to black.. thanks though

I meant the resolution that was originally set for the image. I try to keep my stuff around 300 or 600 pixels per inch.

Yeah.. that looks great now! No prob. Glad to be of service. May I ask what font you used? Looks pretty cool.

Saving it for web while setting the matte to that hex color should reduce those outlying white pixels.

Another option would be to create a temporary dark background layer to make those pixels stand out and then zoom in and mask them into oblivion,
and then remove that layer, save for web.
