Question

i need help please

Ok so I just recently decided to start my mustang project. 1978 Mustang II hatchback
I hit my first road block, it needs an engine, it has a v6 with a cracked block, so I need a new motor, I'm trying to keep it a v6 if possible, I'm trying to figure out what I can put in this thing that will not only give more power, but something that has potential, my ideas, a V6 with a supercharger, then my ricer side came out (I also drive an Integra), so I thought turbo i4, so keeping with the turbo idea I thought twin turbo v6, but if I went that route a bigger v6 to try to produce more horsepower, then there was the completely wild idea of a Honda motor, something like the S2000's F20C, 2 liter with a RWD tranny, turbo or supercharger the whole nine yards, but I have no idea where to begin (I just think the mustang with the heart of a Honda would be crazy) so please any help would be appreciated, and please don't flame me for bringing the idea of a domestic with an import power plant on here, just looking for a direction to go with here, and I want something that's wild and crazy to not just be another 5.0 mustang with a blower on top.
thanks all
P.S. please take it easy on me

Talking

2.8 V6

Add an Offy intake, headers, and either a heavy duty clutch or a good shift kit (depending on the transmission)

You'd be amazed what the 2.8 can do if given a few upgrades. They respond well even if the only engine mod is to replace the original carb with the same model from a V8

ok so the stock v6 will produce good power?
glad to hear that, I just found out my dad has a spare v6 lying around just needs to be pulled apart and cleaned real good.
I'm looking to produce enough power to make this thing a nice little car, is there anything discrete that could be suggested be done as a power adder? I don't want to attract to much negative attention from the popo
