Uh, yeah, okayyyy. Probably closer to an accurate portrayal than the pic of "you" above (not that that would be saying much)

Obviously it isn't. And that should read as " [/thread] " for it to be formatted correctly. And remember that a pot head more than twice your age, who was alive before Pong was released pointed it out to you.

But I'm in the Mustang II section where there's virtually no traffic anyway, and I'm enjoying poking fun at the retarded girl who can't stay away

i understand, but it just makes the mods job all that harder. Pointless posts take up memory, something of which is not infintismal.

Keep it tec in here, it's one of the few things they ask us to do.

If you're going to post pics, make them of Mustangs, NOT your whacking material...

Delete all those damn posts then, and let's get back to the point at hand, Blue Coyote, you have a pretty good taste for Mustang II's, do you think the paint and scoop scheme I was thinking looks good, or is it just me? I really do want to build a mean machine of a Mustang II, just because of the power to weight, but I want it to look sexy too, ya know?

I do like the Mach 1 paint scheme, but I'm not sure how that scoop would look. My first II had the stock scoop, but glassed in so that it was one piece with the hood, and it looked VERY nice. I may end up doing the same on the King. I'm having a bit of trouble visualising the newer scoop on the II hood. I do know that the 69 Stang scoop looks good on a II, but the 83(?) Cobra scoop looks a bit too large/wide for my liking.

You'll probably find that the car just won't look quite right without some sort of rear spoiler, though. The way the rear angles of the body flow, it really does need something to fill it in a bit. My king and the 77 Cobra obviously have the rear spoiler, but my other T-top doesn't. That WILL change, though...

Its usually a matter of getting past the oh-so-common "snootiness" that many "classic" owners display towards the II. They just get so wound up in the hype that they can't see past it, and they're so vocal that people start believing their lines of horse droppings.

They ARE a pretty sweet little ride once you get past the above-mentioned nonsense.

I'm not too savvy when it comes to computers and cameras, but mustangii.net has a HUGE photo section with pics of everything from basemodel coupes to Cobra II's, Kings, and even some of the prototypes that got the axe prior to production (did you know that Ford was going to release a ragtop II? I believe 7 were built)
