The 295's are on Centerline 15x10's with the mounting surface ~4" from the outer bead of the rim. Just about 3/4" of bulge in the sidewalls past the bead. They look sweet, but I may need to use the air shocks and/or the clearancing tool to fit them in the wheel wells (on whichever car gets them)

Minor update...
I put the 295's on the King last night. They're going to need at least 1/4" spacers to clear the leafs, which will then cause them to rub slightly across the top of the sheetmetal. The car sits nicely on them, though, with no sign of the dreaded "rake" (this may change when I swap the 205/50's onto the front). I think some slight flaring of the fenders is in order. Not much. Just about 1/2" and angling the inner edge up a bit. Should leave an easy 1/8" or better clearance all around

I REALLY gotta get the wife to bring me up to speed on the digital camera, and how to post pics...
Today I put the 205/50R15's on the front. Doesn't have nearly the rake I feared it would. And I managed to JUST get away with using a 1/8" spacer on the rears, so I might be able to gently bevel the fender lip and pull it out about 1/4" and clear all around. NO MORE 13" TIRES!

haha ya those 13`s are awful!! thats cool, i am trying to get a low look, but level. i cut a half coil on the front, with a 215/60/15 and it is seriously perfect!, but its got a little rake right now, im trying to think of the perfect way to get the back at the same height, but with a much fatter tire! i want the tire right on the lip of the wheel well. what about your exhaust?....any plans? |

The 295/50's so far sit about an inch up inside the top of the wheel wells (and after settling overnight, they just rest against the inner lip of the unmodified sheet metal), while the 205/50's leave about 2 1/2" to the fender lip out front. The rocker panels are 1/4" lower at the rear edge of the front fender than they are at the front of the rear fender, so its pretty much level (but with a LOT more tire out back!!) I'm starting to really like the look
![]() Right now, the exhaust is pretty stock. I have a line on a set of modified Heddmans (modified so the #1 does NOT go under the x-member), but I want to try tackling the wiring issues before I worry too much about anything else. I still need to replace one turn signal socket, the intermediate rear lighting harness, and figure out why the only interior light that works is the gearshift bezel illumination... ![]() Its still got a really nasty tick in the driver's side head, but until I get around to swapping on the E7 heads, 68 intake and Holley 4bbl, and the MSD, I think I'll just let that be.

what rims are you using again?
ya i have the heddmen headers right now, instead of modifying that #1 tube im just going to purchase the hooker super comps, those will clear the t-5 (with the rad 4 bell housing) that i plan on switching this summer. but as far as exhaust goes, i think i want to do a y pipe design, kinda like what a f body camaro uses, then have a cut out right by the diff. |

Centerlines. 15x10 out back (mounting surface 4" back from the outside bead) and 15x6 in front (standard II offset)
Now where did I put my aluminum bat...oops, that should read "flaring tool"
