A/C problems

Does anyone here have experience with the A/C? I’m not getting power to the fan motor. I found a plug on the back of the selector switch that was kinda melted but it was still working. Any ideas?

have you tested for power to the motor with it switched on?

that will tell you right there if the fan or the switch is bad

Yes, there is no power at the motor. I even pulled the motor and checked it and it worked. I'm hoping someone else has had this problem and can help.

well i havent had that problem, but if you have tested for power to the motor with the switch on, and then you test for power to the switch, that will tell you weather its a switch or not

Ebay...maybe....

None of my II's has had A/C, but you might luck out crawling through older Fords at the wreckers. Maybe another car had the same switch (the way they did with the headlight switches)

Cool man.

I wish the electrical issues with the Rat Snake were that simple...
