I rarely drive my car, sometimes weeks on end. But when i do take her out, I enjoy her 10x more. U really can't appreciate a worked car for what it is, if it's ur DD and ur picking up ur groceries in her |

The "new posts" feature lists what forum a post is in, so if you didn't know it was in the II section, that's YOUR bad, not mine
![]() Oh, I can take the heat. I don't stew about it though. I don't bite. I bite BACK ![]() Nothing against Pinto's. At least they ain't Fairmonts ![]() Problem with your "joke" is that its tired, old, not overly funny, lacks a punchline, and contributed ZERO to the discussion, regardless of what forum you thought you were posting in. If you don't like the response your comment brought, try paying attention to what you're posting, and where you're posting it next time...

Did the 65 even come with disc brakes from the factory? Or were front drums still "state of the art" technology? ![]() Over a million units sold in 5 years. Yup, quite the profitable "failed POS" for Ford. Astound me with more of your ignorance, peckerneck...

Just like on a few other Mustang boards with idiots of his caliber, I'm in it for the fun. Someone takes a potshot at the cars I love, its open season for me to get my jollies at their expense. High school? Damn, and here I thought he was a 9 year old tirebiter, all proud of Mommy's ponycar. His ignorance truly IS astounding though. Out of the top ten selling years of Mustangs, the 5 years of Mustang II hold three of them. When the first generation can say that over half of the era sold enough to take 30% of the top ten, then MAYBE he will have something to talk about besides how his ass hurts from the reaming he puts it through A million in the first year? I believe that figure encompasses a year and a half, NOT a year (as any first gen Mustang owner with half a clue should know...oh yeah, I forgot, its nba. My bad)Its kinda fun reading his ignorant posts, and responding to them like his opinion means more than the shit I left in the toilet this morning. I gotta mention, though, that the fastback he's so proud of looks, in my opinion, like an unsuccessful 'Cuda knockoff. The early fastbacks are the only Mustangs I dislike more than the 79-04 eras. After all, owning an early fastback (or a Foxbody) is something any moron with a goldcard and a computer can do. Pretty much ALL eras of the Mustang are designed after Ford's econo-crap lines, which is something far too many "classic" owners conveniently forget (or in nba's case, were too stupid to realise in the first place)

your stats need proven links from proven websites
or else you /fail here is what this website has to say about your beloved car "Mustang II Forum - Often considered the 'dark age' of the Mustang (1974 - 1978), the fuel crisis prompted Ford to build a less powerful V6, offer a 4cylinder engine, and even offered no V8 powerplant initially." |

"as one of the most successful product launches in automotive history. The[colored] Mustang sold over one million units in its first 18 months on the market.[/color] The Mustang created a new "pony car" class of cars by adapting the "long hood, short deck" look of sports cars to compact sedans. It spawned many competitors such as the Diesel Place - Duramax Diesel Discussion Forums, and inspired smaller import coupes such as the Toyota Celica and Ford Capri. The Mustang has remained in continuous production to present day after many decades and numerous revisions." Ford Mustang - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

![]() EVERY reliable source I found pegs the 64.5 and 65 Mustang production numbers at just shy of 681k, so nba MUST know better than any "official" reference source out there. Unlike nba (BTW: is that an acronym for "No Brain Attached"? Sure seems that way) I know better than to take Wiki at face value, or I would have cited "facts" from their references as well. So, get on that, failure-boy. Time to attempt to salvage some credibility...
