classic pony
Whats up guys? Im new here and I have already introduced myself to the people in the classic section. For those who havent gone in there, I drive a 1968 289 coupe. I have around 70,500 original miles on her. I am in the process of restoring her back to factory+. She is a great car and I am glad to have found a place to talk about her with people that know what their talking about.

hey, welcome to the site...I wish I had an old one like that. That was the reason I joined this forum in the first place. My dad had an old one like that, and it was sold when he died...my original intent was to get one just like it and restore it back in his memory...then I got sidetracked and got an 03 GT haha...

I love bringing back threads from the dead, So I am going to do it with my own thread.
I haven't been around the forum lately, I have been worried more about my DD than my Mustang. But, I have recently changed schools and I have a much shorter trip home than I did before and I can do some of the stuff that I need to do to the old gal. Oh, and thanks for taking me back......

I'm in the process of redoing my 67. I'm not going back to factory, but these things are time consuming.
I'm doing body work, side scoops, lowering, chrome rims, fix interior back to stock, fix T5, and then put on some performance parts on my I6. Post some pics when you get a chance. EDIT: Here is a link to pics of mine. http://s193.photobucket.com/albums/z...n/body%20work/

I agree. They are very time consuming, time and money. Why are you keeping the I6? I mean it is different, but it wouldn't be my first choice to hot rod out. After my family moves, I will have some more room to work on the pony and I can get done what I want to get done.
