So this is the first real forum that I've been a member of that I check on and post frequently. I've been playing around with the profile and was curious about a few things. First, what is up with the green blocks under our names? what do they indicate. Next, I noticed increasing points for comments people have left me. What do they do?

the green blocks indicate how much reputation you have recieved. to hand out reputation to another member, click the little scales that are underneath your avi. the increasing points are just rep points. it is basically kind of a popularity contest from what i gather from it. although it is customary to give out reputation points to members who have given good advice. the points dont do anything
