98 4v transplant

Hey just wanted to post some pictures of my rides and use up some post so i can email some people on the classifieds.

My mustang is a 98. It was a v6 with an auto. I bought it for next to nothing from a customer after it came into the shop with a blown motor (drove it overheated). I wanted to put a 4v in it since i had been dying to play with a 4.6, 4v. After a year of going back and forth of what to do with the car i finally just did it last summer.

I pulled a 4.6l out of a 98 mark viii. I put a set of 98 cobra cams in it, made a completely custom wire harness, hollowed my imrc plates, put on a set of fms ceramic coated headers, got a 2000 cobra computer and got a sniper tuner.

Now i working on building a forged 4.6l with c heads and a cobra intake for a supercharger set up. Hopefully be done with that by summer 2010. For this summer though i just plan on getting the supercharger on this motor and running 6-8psi for kicks.

either use a photobucket or attach them under the "advanced" setting for a post. but you have to have a minimum # of posts in order to attach pics.

cool, thanks. I problay wouldnt have done it if i wasnt able to get the car for so cheap. Ive only got about 2500 in this project so far, and ive already done a bunch of mods too; pypes exhaust, bassani x pipe, fms headers, and cobra r wheels. Of course it doesnt hurt having left over parts from other projects

My other ride is an 87 tbird turbo coupe. I have a 50 ho in it with a t5. Still trying to figure out how to post some pictures!

I powder coated the valve covers blue, and got the "powered by ford" coil covers featured on the ford GT.

here is a shot where you can see it with the wheels, you can also see the pypes exhaust sticking out

i have a set of eibach lowing springs for a 98 stang that i was going to use in my tbird that i plan on installing if i ever get a chance.
