New guy from houston here

Hi everyone im new to Houston and got an awesome job with BAE Systems if you know what that is. And can finally afford my dream car.
Well i owned an 03 gt for a while and began putting money into it and never got the results i wanted, soooo i got rid of it now Im picking up my 2003 Sonic Blue cobra in 7 or so weeks, the car well be paid off and ready to be stroked and then swinscrewed, the car has 90k miles and has a SRA, i drove it and it felt amazingly tight and fast of course, i was wondering if there was a lot of owner in Houston to BS with.
Here at work there is nothing but GM guys, 3 or 4 camaros with big cams and a couple cammed LS3 vettes and C5Zs and even some GTOs, i want to make them eat it bad how do you think i can achieve this..
Im sure im gonna need a lot of help from the people on this forum, but it should be fun and we should learn a lot too..
