My dad wants to buy my v6 engine from me. So I figured the best thing to replace it with is a v8... guess not???

aside from the obvious you will have to change swapping to a v8..you're going to need a new rear end...the 7.5'' you have back there simply won't handle it, tranny, fuel pump. Those are the major components, there's a whole bunch of extras you'll have to change as well
