Hello from a newbie

I stumbled across this forum while reseaching tuners and intakes. Found a lot of great advice during my searches. I have decided to join so that I can discuss my thoughts and continue to learn from people that have experienced what I hope to experience.

I recently purchase the 2nd GT I have ever owned, but it has been 15 years since I have owned one. I was lucky enough to find a 2010 GT Premium with multiple Roush accessories installed, used, with 700 miles on it. The gentleman before me purchased and had a roush certified dealer install the components. He returned to have more put on but a sales guy talked him into purchasing a Roush stage 3 so he traded in the one I now own.

I was looking at a Camaro for over a year. I almost bought one but I walked away. I stopped in at the Ford dealer, to whom which I have always been a fan (I traded in my F-150 for the GT and my wife drives an Edge), on Saturday and drove the car. I fell in love. What a machine. I am so thankful I stopped. The camaro is nothing like the mustang. The camaro is a beautiful machine, but to me, the mustang is for me.

I used to race motorcycles until I high-sided at Barbers Motorsports Park. I have had two surgeries to repair my right shoulder, which is still messed up, and may have to have surgery on a bougling disc. Obviously I am a power freak so I had to have something to replace the bikes. The wreck taught me to respect machinery, you can only control so much.
