New.. from Texarkana, TX

Hey everyone.

Name's Chris. Just bought a mustang two or three weeks ago.. 2003 V6 a/t.

I kick myself for buying a car with a/t.. have looked at manual swaps but haven't found anyone that has done it and states their overall cost for parts/parts car.. so give me a shout if you've done this.

Anyhow, I've also got a 2009 VW New Beetle (work vehicle) inline-5 cylinder, 1998 Chevy Blazer v6, 1998 Mazda 626 LX v6, and a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 250.

I settled for an automatic because of the fact it was an '03 with only 43,081 miles. I've put 2000 on it in the short time I've owned it.

Thought I'd say hello, I may not be the most active member, but I'll certainly be lurking around! It's nice to drive a car with such a large community, for once.

The modifications I can tell it has so far.. mostly aesthetic. There's a K&N intake on it, aftermarket exhaust (flowmaster?), Cobra rims (one of which is darker than the rest..sigh), billet door handles - turn signal cover - steering wheel adjustment lock - door locks - shifter bezel - climate control knobs, interior bezel accents painted blue, billet grille. I'm pretty sure it has an aftermarket underdrive pulley as well, I'll probably post a picture one day just to verify that, though.

I'll get some better pictures soon. I'm waiting on my new head unit to come in so I can wire up my amp and get the interior looking clean again. So far, all I've added is a CB radio.. and yeah, you're going to ask me.. wtf? I've got a few buddies that play around on CB, and I just think it's fun.

My brother was looking for a v8 mustang. Was very set on v8 for his first car. After a few rides in mine, he decided v6 was plenty and ended up buying an '07 5-speed with the v6. Plenty fast for everyday driving.

haha. This car's a mismatch of everything. I'll probably post more pictures to try and identify everything that isn't stock here pretty soon. This is my first mustang... rode in an 89 5.0 and a 76 growing up, but nothing recent

Thanks for all the welcomes, and the info about the rims. One of the rims is darker than the rest.. which aggravates me. haha.
