1993 Mustang GT/Cobra GT....lady has stupid question????

I purchased a 1993 Mustang convertible a year or so ago. I am starting to look into restoring it. When I purchased I ordered CarFax report prior to picking it up. CarFax claims (according to vin) that it is a "1993 Ford MustangGT/Cobra GT. Now, the company that I am looking to purchase parts for restoration tell me there is no such thing. Any help?

I've never heard of a convertible Cobra from 1993... Not to be a smart ass, but are you sure you entered the V.I.N. correctly?

Welcome to MM. I was not aware a 93 Vert Cobra was produced. Could be a vert they cloned to a Cobra. Not sure on the car fax.

probally a canadia mustang. they called them a Cobra GT
