I'd stick with 18's if it were me, but 19's may be acceptable. I really don't like "dubs" but they have be known to look 'ok' on '05 and up.

18s are big on pre 99 cars, but 18s are acceptable on 99-04 and 05+. 20s are a little much imo, but it is your car...

IMO, any rim that is bigger than the stock rim on the 05's and up, make the car look MUCH better...

and welcome to the site!!

Finally, someone interested in the same thing I am. I have the 2006 GT Convertible. I currently have the stock 18" which I am thinking of making my winter wheels. I have already ordered the replacement tires. I am in the process of looking for a good set of summer rims. I was thinking of the Platinum series Split Lance. My only problem is which should I choose, 18" or 20"? If you go to www.ponybuilder.com, you can get a good idea of what 20" will look like on the new mustangs. I personally think they look sweet. Especially if you drop the car 1.5 or 2". You will definitly have a great looking Mustang after you put 20s on it. But we might be sacrificing comfort for looks. I am trying to find someone who has 20" on their 05-07 mustangs so I can get an idea of what the ride is like. If the comfort is a lot worse, I may not get them. If its not noticeable, maybe I will go with the 20s. All I know for certain is 20s will look sweet on the 05-07 mustangs. If anyone has any experience with 18" vs. 20" rims, please respond to this thread.

with the 20's you will give up some hp. and the ride will get rougher than the 18's but its all depends on how you like it i guess there are a few with 20's on there car here that have 05 and up search the forums and you find some pix for it
