Hi all

I found this site while looking for a new car to buy. I wasn't sure what type of car I wanted and the information I found on this site helped to point me towards a mustang. I haven't had a fast car since the end of the 80's and have missed the tire smoking fun.

I work for 9 months a year and spend the winter months playing and goofing off. While I am away working, my car is parked with a cover over it. I have a friend that starts it for me about once a month and takes it around the block to keep seals and such from drying out.

I picked up my Mustang this last winter and plan on doing a lot of upgrades this coming winter. I plan on starting with a VT 302 2v longblock with stage 2 heads and a blower cam. next will be a Procharger d trim with a P51 intake, new axles and a new eaton posi diff. I also want to get a suspension kit and am leaning towards the maximum grip box or the steeda setup going to stage 3. I still haven't decided on which LT headers and exhaust to get. I am looking for a setup that will allow me to drop the tranny w/o dropping the headers if I can find one. I also plan on doing things like an aluminum driveshaft and flywheel. Basically, I want a car I can abuse without it breaking every time I put my foot into it.
