just wanted to say hi!
Not sure if this is the correct forum but thought i would introduce myself as you guys will be seeing me a lot more now that I just bought a 1990 5.0 LX.
the car needs a lot of TLC btu for 1500, couldn't pass on it. gonna have to do a lot a fixing it up before I even think about upgrading. I also own a 3000gt vr-4 pushing 465AWHP, I was looking at the next stage of upgrades and decided the HP was fine where it is at ![]() So the vr-4 just became my DD while I have some fun with the new ride. Not to inflame the age old debate but, turbo's or A Blower? i am partial to turbo's myself but always want a supercharged car. well I guess thats enough of my rambling, see you guys around! -David

every body seams to rave on the on3turbo kit .(or something like that) with stock h/c/i. some thing like 400+ horse with the kit and fuel upgrades only. i'm sure somone will chime in.

that sounds like a decent kit.
just browsing around the internet and everything is so cheap compared to the vr-4, love it! thanks for the warm welcomes. one quick question, Is there tuning devices Like a SAFC NEO for mustangs or is everything burned to a chip, to me that sounds kind of restrictive having to reflash every time you make a change to the car.

Our computers in our cars are old, so if you go the chip route, yes, you need to reburn for major airflow changes. There are self tuning devices such as Quarterhorse, Tweecer, and Anderson PMS that you can do your tuning yourself if you are brave and patient.

So I assume these programs are a bit more involved then a simple a/f tuner? I did All the the work/tuning my self so I have an idea of what to go on. why do you say brave and patient?
