driving stangs since 11
hey guys i like this forum more than the other stang forums so i decided to sign up n introduce myself
first stang i drove was a 1999 mustang GT in 2001 when it was pretty brand new. my dad of course showin me the ropes of a; at the time REALLY REALLY FAST CAR. was a big difference from what i had been used to (hondas n such from the age of 8) and i was hooked, took every chance i could to ask my dad to drive the stang in an empty parking lot for 4 more years till i had my permit. then the addiction was crazier. he finally sold it in 2006 for a charger R/T which i enjoyed but was too luxary for me n from then on knew i needed a mustang so when i got my license i saved up 1,500 and went to a buy here pay here dealer that was a friend of the family and got me a 1997 ford mustang, black, automatic with a few mods the owner let me give him 1,500 as down payment and make payments until it was paid off it is a very great car and to me has one of the best body styles(i love them all though) but she has seen better days and sad to say i wont be modifying her. instead buying another stang  HERE SHE IS btw i have a bit of experience in detailing hence the shine lol

welcome, you sound alot like me growing up, my father had a bad ass 68 mustang while i was growing up and i took interest in cars around 5 years old

Welcome to MM. I am trying to plant the Mustang love in my 4 year old son. I own 2 Mustangs and give him rides and let him help me work on them. (extremely close supervision).
