hello modded mustangs. my name is jamie and i live on the gulf side of florida. i just picked up a 100% bone stock 99 gt coupe black with tan interior with a 5 speed. i am new to mustangs but not new to fords and modular motors, in the last 8 years i have owned 13 lincoln Mark VIII's my last one being heavily modified. but i have wanted a newer mustang for a long time. i owned an 85 gt way back around 1998 but i like this 99 alot better! i have big plans for the car and look forward to being a part of this site. i am well known in the lincoln world and all their forums but its time to move on and do something different. see you on the forum! here is my 99.

my last lincoln i had which i sold back in october was a 97 lsc, black on black. the motor was rebuilt in 2006, with a few upgrades like march under drive pulleys, kooks 3/4 length headers, aeromotive billet adjustable fuel pressure reg, i ported the stock intake and sanded the outside smooth and powdercoated it gloss black, the cam covers were textured red, it had magnaoflow high flow cats on it, a bassani x pipe, magnaflow mufflers, sct xcal 3 tune, 98+ 4R70W that i j-modded the valve body in, i put an eaton trac-loc in it with motorsport 4:30's, subframe connectors, i put cobra brakes on it, 13 inch fronts with cobra aluminum dual piston calipers, the rears were 11.25 cobra rotors with a caliper relocation bracket from super coupe performance, i installed a 28,000gvw trans cooler with a 7 inch procomp 550 cfm electric fan, it also had a whelen police light strobe box in it with red and blue lights in the headlights, high beam wig-wags and strobes in the tail lights, those hardly ever got turned on lol just asking for serious trouble but it was awesome looking! i also had 18x9 chrome speedstar replica's on when i first bought it, then i sold them and put black ones on it. i removed the air suspension and converted it to a Vogtland 2 inch lowered progressive coil spring kit, i used a strutmasters kit and put the super coupe coils on from Vogtland, here are a few pics, this car was my baby, its now in indiana. i still have one left, its a black 98 lsc like this one but its bone stock. i bought it for my wife.

thanks guys. i have alot planned for it, and i am waiting on my tax refund to hit my bank any day now. a few mods that i am doing right away, like next week are 18x9 / 18x10 staggered black/polished lip bullitts, mac off road H with new mufflers and tails also, sequential tail lights, MGW short throw shifter, window tint BAD!! and i am going to look at a few hoods this weekend i would like a cobra hood off an 03-04 and the bumper covers too but that can wait. i noticed tonight on my way home from work i filled the tank, and i have fuel dripping real slow but cant tell from where, i know its the tank area, but not sure if a hose is loose on the tank or the tank itself is leaking, i wont know till this weekend i will get under it and see whats going on, it only seems to do it when its real full. i'll find it and fix it. do you guys know if a 315-35-18 will fit on the rear with no issues? cuz thats what i plan on putting in the rear.

wow what are the odds lol, after i posted that i was waiting for my tax refund, i went to check my account for something non related and i guess my tax check went in today i was shocked to see this
Available Balance( What's this? ) $7,146.65
because earlier it was only $570 bucks in the account!! looks like i am going online shopping!

7 grand? Dump at least 3200 in this beast if not more. Do some go fast parts for sure. (gears, cam, heads, intake, exhaust, and some suspenion mods) I run a 315/35/17 and I have room to go up so Id say it should be fine.

i was just looking at exhaust online, but my buddy owns a performance shop up the road he already said he'll do my exhaust. he stocks flowmaster but i have been leaning toward MAC exhaust. i dont know what to do! if i let him do it it wont cost me crap to have done. i was actually going to make my own h pipe at his shop with no cats and just get mils for the 02 plugs. i am a 20 year welder/ fabricator so i can make my own killer exhaust blind folded but i am not 100 % sure i want to lose my cats, alot of mustangs around here or so ungodly loud its almost hard to drive them i dont need to wake people up 3 towns over in the morning!!

The fuel leak is probably the gasket where the filler neck connects into the gas tank. It's common on these cars
