Well I just picked this up tonight.. Its an 85 Needs some things but couldn't pass up a good deal.

mildly built 302, has 10.1 comp pistons, mild cam, valvesprings blah blah, 700 cfm double pumper holley, 4.56 gears with a spool, 2500 stall, moser 31 spline axles, full lakewood drag suspension, subframe connectors, fuel cell in the trunk and battery.. and more im forgetting.....

plans are to get rid of the 4.56 gears and spool for a 4.10 setup and a posi, get a stock dash in, clean up some wiring, and go have some fun!!
Hoping to at some point this year throw a single turbo setup on the 302 or possibly go with an lsx build. Haven't really made up my mind there yet.

I picked up some parts last week that are focused on getting the car street legal as it has been a drag car for the last 17 years.... So anything that could get it faster at the track was sacrificed.

I picked up everythign from an 85 parts car I found. Got a dash, center console, alternator, water pump pulley, everything to mount the headlights, wiring for headlights tail lights and the interior, and a steering column to replace the custom setup that looks to only work with the custom dash setup in the car atm. Also picked up 2 bnib 15x7 weld wheels to match my fronts on the car currently and a trak loc out of a 03 cobra.

Hoping to maybe get the stuff in this week, take all the stickers off the car, and possibly buiold an exhaust for it as it is currently open headers. Debating on giving the 4.56 gears a try on the street... but not sure how that is going to work out for me

Just ordered ford racing 4.10 gears and install kit, some 3 inch piping, a summit glass pack muffler, 2 turn downs, and a carb rebuild kit. Hoping to do some work this week. Next weekend ill be ordering my seats and harness as well..... Then all that'll be left is drag radials, 2 rear wheels to match my fronts, and 2 front tires!

Also gotta figure out why the tranny won't go in reverse sometimes when its cold. Read something about the servo but not sure on that one

im from steubenville, about as east as you can get in ohio.

isnt much to update... lol

got a mild 347 put together with a scat kit, aluminum edelbrock heads, and a lunati voodoo cam. picked up some kirkeys for the interior and 5 point harnesses, also some 15x10 weld draglites for the rear with some 275/60 nitto drag radials and some other misc stuff. hoping to get it all together in the next couple weeks. trying to come up with some money for a nitrous setup as well
