Mustang motors
I am trying to find out what motors were available in 19641/2 through 1973 models. I owned 2 Mustangs in the '60's and early '70's. The first was a '66 with a 6 banger. The other was a '67 with the sprint package 289. I owned this one twice. In '69 I got a Charger with a 383, then in '72 by chance I got the '67 back.
I remember seeing a '67 with a 427 badge. I saw it one night at a used car dealer but when I went back a few days later it was sold. I remember the 428 Cobra Jet (early '70's) and of course 390 and 351 Windsors and Clevelands and the 302. I'd like any info. Thanks. |
