new outta cincinnati oh
Hey all,
im new to the whole mustang thing. I just sold my high 12 second turbo honda. I already have a 06 f250 and a 2010 impala that i let my girl drive and was looking for a new project that i could drive that would also get me better gas mileage. Instead i just decided to work on my girls mustang. She has a 2001 v6 5spd stock except for chrome saleen wheels. So my goals for now are 300 rwhp and suspension. I dont really want to motor swap forced insuction is possible down the road. Mods i have been looking at are head work cam full exhaust tumes and windstar intake with spacer and throttle body from vap. I woild love input or just bs. Pics comin soon thanks |

Those motors are hard pressed when it comes to power gains. Might have to go fi for that.

Thanks for the welcome. I must say after looking through some of the forums the members here have to be some of the friendliest people. And i figured it would be a chore to make power with this motor but i have nothing but time and no real expectations untill i do make the jump to FI. Until then i look forward to seeing the small differences each part makes.

Yeah. I wouldn't bother modding a 6 unless you're going all out. TMA twin turbo kit, 4.2 stroker, etc. Now that would be awesome.
