Greetings and My Intro

I've been signed up for a week or two but wanted to wait to introduce myself until I had some decent shots of the reason I'm here in the first place. :sleep

Actually this is more what I wanted to display.

I just had the stripe put on it a week ago. I have some more exterior parts on the way. I'll post the befores and afters. As a matter of fact, here's a before and after I just did tonight.

It's kinda hard to see it but it's a pony grille insert. I'm trying to add on without replacing or taking off.

The next additions will be to the rear. Then I have some ideas for the interior but that will be a little further down the road, so to speak.

This is my second Mustang. My first one was a '66 beater I purchased in my high school days with the intent of putting the small block V-8 into my '70 Pinto. (ah the things you think you can do when you're immortal)

Well neither car survived to see the merger so I finally got the best of both worlds, cool and fast. :wink

Here's a picture of me with my Grand Daughter on my Harley.

I'm big into music and play drums for a local Rock n Roll band. We play almost every weekend so I have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer for hauling band gear and the winter months.

I'm also a devoted NASCAR fan and have been rooting for Mark Martin ever since I can remember. Not sure what I'm going to do next year after he retires.

Other than that, I'm a systems administrator for a local Manufacturing firm. My company makes machines that fill food, beverage, aerosol and dynamite containers for many companies you all do business with. If you use any coffee, air freshener or butter from a tub products, one of our machines put the product in the container for that company.

If you use Land O Lakes butter, as one example, our company designed and built the machine and sold it to them. We ship it, install it and teach the company how to use it and on their site, they filled the butter tubs, sealed and packed it and then shipped to retail stores for you to purchase.

We are a very large international corporation and I support the network of computers and users that range from designers, drafters, engineers, both mechanical and electrical, all the office staff and shop machines that use computer technologies for programing their primary functions. I'm also responsible for all the communications, phones and internet connections for my location and the corporate offices in Germany and the UK. Never a dull moment and I enjoy going to work every day.

Anyone still awake? Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the site, sounds like you have a fun job and great hobbies. It seems like everyone who is into cars is also into music, just most of us aren't talented at music (like myself). Enjoy the site and sweet ride(s)

Welcome to the site. The wheels might be a bit much for my taste but I really like the pony insert. Nice car!

Thanks, I appreciate the honest replies. :wink I know the wheels aren't for everyone. That's why I have them.

Some of the styling parts I ordered arrived today so I spent the evening installing them.

I'm sure these next pictures may enhance the suggestion of the primal instinct of but I also put a few additions on the hinnie. Have a look...

Trim around the tailights and 3rd brake light. Blackout on lower trunk lid, and the mud flaps.

Again, it's just me but I think it accents the lines nicely.

I plan on working on the interior next. Still getting ideas of what I can afford to do as opposed to what I want to do. More pix later.

Chris, the performance items will probably be on the agenda next year. Again with so many opportunities it takes a while to get a handle on what's right for me.

I wanted to do the cold air box and a scoop of some sort. I'm really liking the Shaker system. The exhaust sounds great the way it is so it's going to have to mostly be under the hood mods.

I like what's available for suspension upgrades as well. I'm thinking about lowering it maybe an inch and putting heavy duty components under it for cornering considerations.

And overall for visual, if the ladies are liking it then I'm good to go.
