Lankolf of Colorado, Mustang Raised since 1988

Hi y'all, I'm Jordan from Milliken, Colorado. We love muscle cars here in Northern Colorado. A lot of people around here love the array of other awesome vehicles made in that time period all too sweet, but for me, once the mustang is in your blood, you have no other loyalties. Not to say that other cool cars arn't just that, cool cars, but the Mustang is my passion, and I hope to present myself as such in my future posts.

I have two cars, and both are mustangs! Obviously... My first car was a 65 Mustang 289 coupe, which I still have. I've never had the opportunity to drive it, but I've had the opportunity to work on it more then I care to discuss. My dreams for this car are huge, as it was after all my first car, and I hope to have it till the day I die. My daily driver for a year was a Geo Tracker, which I purchased for eight hundred dollars. Putting money in my 65 didn't give me much of a chance to get anything much better at the time, mostly because I was still in High School. Now that I'm graduated, and a full time worker in a dental lab (big money for big cars!!! ), I trashed the ol' Geo and got myself into a 97 Mustang 3.8 The 3.8 was my very best friends car until he bought himself an 00' GT. He knew I wanted it, and when a co-worker of his offered him 3500 for it (it was in pieces at the time), he turned him down and gave it to me for 2500, along with all the primer, paint, and tools that he had bought to finish the car before bought his GT. I did some body work on the car and got her looking real pretty with a glassed in scoop and primer gray. It's another car that I have big plans for, as it is to me, a token of an undying friendship. Sure I do have a lot of plans for a nineteen year old, but I've been known to pull off some pretty amazin' stuff before, even if it doesn't always get finished like it should.

My dream car is a white with blue striped 1965 Shelby GT 350 Mustang, but other cars I would like to own in that later part of my life go as in order.

Shelby AC Cobra 427 Green With White Stripes

Again, White with Blue Stripes, 1966 Ford GT40

Sure I'd like building a Chevy 350 and throwin' it in a 67 Camaro, but It's a car I'd more then likely re sell, I wouldn't mind putting some effort into a Cuda car, but when it comes down to it, the cars listed above are the only ones I really want the day I die.

So far my boss has got me totally beat, he has a 67 Cobra, black with silver stripes, and it talking about getting a GT40. He also has one of the coolest F-250s I've ever seen, along with a nice couple of Chevy's and a Hummer. He's an American kind of car guy that like American cars, but I keep trying to tell him, once you have yourself a Mustang, it's in your blood. I've been on the look out for a nice project 67 for him.

Any how, hope that wasn't too much a mouth full about me and my interests, hopefully I don't sound overly ambitious for a nineteen year old boy.

Edit: I'll try to get some pictures of my Boss's cars, and obviously my own cars in this thread in due time.

Thanks, hopefully I don't end up with a wife that hates a guy that works on cars ever free moment of his time. I hear the wives like that are scarce these days though. I know a couple of fine ladies that are as passionate about cars as I am though, so who knows.
