New Guy intro
Well, three weeks ago, I got a new car, a 96 GT Convertible. Its my second Mustang, the first being a 79 LX hatchback 4banger that blew up on me many years ago. But it started me on Mustangs, and this one has cemented it. I'm hoping to enjoy this car for many years, and plan to start tweaking on it just as soon as I can.

Welcome.
Your first mod should be at least a 3:73 gear for a stick, or 4:10 if its an auto. ![]() Next should be a PI swap.

Thanks for the welcome. It is a stick, so I'll do the 3:73s eventually. I'm still looking at what I want to do right now. I'd like to start working on it, but right now I need to conserve the MPG, as I drive it to work 60 miles everyday, and I'm saving up for grad school, so I'm in the peek and plan stage right now, other than some interior visuals I want to do, like a LED shift knob, and a few other minor things. And here's some pics of it.

Yeah, I stumbled upon it at a small dealership in town after my last car started acting up. I wasn't really sold on it, didn't much like the white top, but then I looked under the hood. Its only got 62000 miles on it. I knew then that I had to buy it, and the top has grown on me, and its the only one I've seen, so it stands out pretty good.
As for the pin striping, I'm not sure what I want to do about it. Part of me wants to remove it and go for a nice clean look, especially since its not well done, but I like the white line breaking up the solid red, so I'm not sure what to do about it yet. |

I think the pin striping has to go, in my opinion.
