Intro: Dave in Salt Lake

Hi, just registered here today. Most of my projects are Audis, but I recently had the pleasure of driving a friend's 05 Mustang Saleen...what an amazing experience! He eventually wants to sell it so I thought I'd register here and do a little research for him since he's not very interested in online excursions.

I currently have 5 Audis and one classic 1983 Saab 900 Turbo.

Thanks guys! It has been awhile since I've driven anything with as much off the line as that car. My friend horsed it around his semi-rural neighborhood for about 10 minutes before turning it over to me. When he hopped out at a stop sign and said 'switch' I thought to myself "Sure, now that 6 neighbors have called the County Sheriff." Was a great afternoon, all in all.

Makes me want to get something a little more gutsy than my 172 hp 1997 Audi A6...maybe more like a 300 hp 2000 A8. In my dreams...a R8.

nope. I avoid the 1.8's at all costs. Most of them have been beat to hell by punks wanting to rice them out, chip em up, and run them at high revs.
