New to the Mustang scene

Well im new to the mustang scene. I am more of a GM fan honestly, i have a '98 Camaro Z28, and a '69 Pontiac LeMans that im restoring... but my new GF has a '01 Silver GT Vert and she wants to do some modding to it. Figured the best place for me to learn more about stangs was on a good forum. Ive picked up countless tips and tricks and ideas from the LS1 forums. Anyway, hope i dont get bashed too hard for the GM thing, lookin forward to meeting some locals in Northern VA area, and havin some fun with the girls stang....

Ill also see what i can do about getting some pics of the girl and stang together for you guys

welcome to MM bro. no need to worry about being a GM guy, we've got a few of those here. it's all good...
looking forward to those pics.
btw, check out the Southeasr Regoin section. we've got quite a few VA guys here, mostly Hampton Roads...

thanks man, ill check out the region section right away... im kinda excited about playing with the mustang. grew up GM, its nice starting something new and unfamiliar.

Oh, and im pushing for a photo op this weekend, her car and mine need to be washed...

yeah, i hear ya on that. my car's a mess. btw, we're having a cookout down here in Va Bch on Saturday. the thread's in the Southeast Region section. if you're not busy, you might want to come down and check it out if you can. i know it's a drive, but we've got a guy who drives down from Annandale...

I saw the thread about the BBQ. would be a nice trip to take the vert, But im stuck working this weekend

Ill have to try and plan for the next group meet.

hahahaha, its a constant argument between us... I give her a hard time cuz her vert looks like you could take it offroading. My camaro looks slammed with sportlines...

that sucks, but hey, stay tuned, i'm sure we'll do it again. last year, we started planning the second one the day after we had the first one...
