New; 2003 Mustang GT

I am now the proud owner of a sonic blue 2003 Mustang GT. No big plans right away, most likely an X-pipe and catback exhaust. Anyways, here's the important part, the pics...




Bought it and needed new tires. This happened on the 2nd day I owned the vehicle...

Thanks for the welcome. I would have never bought this color Mustang new but the deal was there and now I don't know if I would ever buy a different color.

wow!! almost looks like mine...those are the rims I want to put on my car. Are those the 2003 or 04 cobra rims and what size are they? I was thinking about doing 18's...even though I know those tires sizes are quite higher than for the 17's

I love the sonic's though...I am pretty partial to em!

I bought the car used and the dealer didn't know what they were. I've concluded that they are 2003 Cobra rims. But they have the Mustang w/ the red, white, and blue stripes in the center cap instead of the cobra.

WHEELS HERE

I do know that they are 17"x9". I am going to be ordering 17"x10.5" soon so I can get some 315s on the back.

those are stock chrome rims that came on the mustang that year as an option.... they are not cobra riims.

my neighbor bought an 03 the same week i did, i had amthracite bullits and he had chrome 5 stars

hers a link to the 03 mustang brochure

Well that's good to know. No, I didn't buy it from a Ford Dealership. Even if I did, as long as I got if for the price I paid it would still be an excellent deal. Who cares where you buy it, all that matters is the price.

You are right...I totally forgot about that. Before I purchased my 03 I was looking at a 04 GT same color car "sonic blue" with those Cobra look a like rims on there and thought they were sharper than the bullitt rims. I would have gotten that 04 if it hadn't been priced so high...dealer would not haggle because it had low miles on it...something like 22,000 miles and wanted something to the effect of $20 grand. Ummm...no...so I moved on
