Long time Mustang owner, new forum member

My name is BJ, and I'm on my third Mustang. Fourth if you count the '67 convertible that was too far gone to save. My current Mustang is a '97 LX (V-6 car) that had a '95 Cobra motor (converted to carbureted), K-member, and front bumper cover swapped into it before I bought it. I bought it for the sole purpose of racing it in the SCCA. I couldn't bring myself to take a perfectly good GT and beat it to death when I could take someone else's project car and do it cheaper.

That being said, I'm mainly here to look for parts. I enjoy the occasional eye-popping Mustang, but those are hard to find around here. Most Mustangs end up like alot of Camaros around here...trailer park trash. So parts are hard to find unless you go out of town. Spare body parts, especially a cowl hood, doors (preferably white), 17" wheels, rolling chassis, whatever you got. If you want to get rid of stuff cheap and fast, I'm your Huckleberry Finn.

I don't know what that means, but it's all I could come up with on such short notice.

good to know. search the classified section. you can't start a thread in it yet though as we like to have our members be active. it helps prevent scams and such. not that you are.. it's just a general rule. feel free to take a look around though.

I have a stock radiator for an auto and an electric fan for sale. lol

How much you want for that fan? Is it a dual fan?

Pics...

No show car here. This one is all business.

And this is what it should look like after the race build is all done. Ignore the New Edge body and imagine a SN95 painted like this:

Now you know why I'd prefer white doors...

Yeah, the way the fan and belt are situated in mine, I have like, 1/8" clearance right under the alternator. Tight squeeze.

I had a '66 Fairlane GTA many years ago. 390 with a triple deuce carb setup (six-pack). Lime gold metallic. Tree fell on it during a hurricane.
