Cecil County Dragway

Has anyone been to Cecil County Dragway, I am looking to go here in the spring, its about 45 minutes south of me. I was talking to someone at subway and he brought up this trag and said they are pretty chill with rules and is a nice place. Im just wondering has anyone been here and is it a nice strip?

nice track, but the weather leads to some very false time's in the spring & fall (way too fast due to elevation/air density/etc. don't expect to duplicate the time's you get there anywhere else on the east coast. my experiance is + 3-4 tenths, some guys see more, some less). I get there occasionally.

Cecil is the only one I've been to on the East coast. I like it cause I can take my Focus up there without being called a ricer or being told get out of "V8 territory". I'm hoping to break that 13.5 this year with the Focus, it's definitely capable.

Maybe ill see you there someone, Ill be in my sixxer hopefully running somewhere in the 13's after gears ,nitrous with my brother in his S4 hopefully also running 13's when its fixed and chipped

That twin turbo V6 S4 is definitely capable of 13s without breaking a sweat.

Not with a faulty Torque converter. It only boosts in 1st and 2nd now(due to engine then putting it in lag mode.) So I take him whenever we race. Were also both autos, so he didnt really get the advatance of launching that awd car with like no spin. I think his car is like 14's stock where mines 15's stock. Im just putting in a bit more money then him.

He needs to put like 1500 to get it running stock and ill have like 2200 grand in mine proformance wise.

But its all just guessing untill we get to a strip and I know im the better driver hands down, itll be fun being competative.

I've got $6,000+ into the Focus. I've built it for autocross and time attack though. It would do better if it had a softer suspension but those Eibachs are stout. It'll turn on a dime, but sucks at launching.
