With your experience, you would. I really need to get more seat time! Oh, and I feel like my suspension still isn't stiff enough! I'm bumping to H&R coilovers this coming winter.

The little track there at Carlisle has a couple hills, a ton of bumps, and breaks in the road which was bouncing me all over the damn place. I was bottoming out left and right and having to adjust to it.

HA!.. I suck.. I'm usually 4-5 secs on the top PAX times.. I barely beat the other mustangs, much less smaller nimble cars..

Yeah let's do a cruise.. I'll start a thread in the NE.. see who's interested and how must prep time people need...

Do you shift much when you run? I stay in 2nd gear the whole time and just use the boost in the low rpm.

Yeah I'm in 2nd the whole time.. my first event there was a serious hairpin where I had to go to 1st.. I could have stayed in 2nd but it was faster loosing the 1/2sec shifting then dropping to 500-800rpm in 2nd....

We had an event last year (I'm told) where guys had to go to 3rd,, the slolm was side and guys were up near 80... I can get to 55-65 in 2nd...

That's about where I am. I have to turn the boost down for autocross. I only run about 6psi and it helps cause otherwise, I spin like a SOB. I haven't tried it on the Dunlops though so I could probably bump that boost back up and still hook 'em.

3rd gear in autocross for me would be kickass! 40-100mph is where the Focus pulls it's best.
