Good Tuner in the NJ area?

Car is acting up, and I'd like to get the kinks worked out before I sell it. Can someone point me in the direction of a good tuner up here?

wow i just looked up west milford, your at the very top of nj. I know some tuners in central/south jersey but nothing that far north.

theres alot of north guys on this website...

I don't mind a little road trip if the tuner is well known and worth it. Who do you have in mind? I'll be doing some research tonight when I get home from work as well, but it would be cool to hear some opinions.

Its not in NJ, but I've heard very good things about Evolution Performance in Aston, Pa, its right over the Commodre Barry Bridge.

JDM on jerseyville ave freehold nj been in the biz for a long time. Teamjdm.com for phone# and directions. What kinda problems are you having? Have you tuned it up lately? They're in Monmouth county in central jersey.

Yea I've definately heard of EVolution, I just didn't know where they were located. I'll definately look into that.

It's hesitating during acceleration. I gave it a tune up including a new fuel filter and plug wires last weekend, and even though it made the car run and idle a lot smoother, it didn't fix the problem. And I remember when I put this motor in back in January or so that it hesitated then too. Then I got it tuned by Fastlane Performance and it fixed it. He said he thought he adjusted for both cold and warm weather, but as soon as it started getting warm I started to get this hesitating again. I'm hoping a retune will fix it because I want to sell this car soon.

I looked up JDM's website and they seem like a legit shop. I think I'll probably call them soon and set up an appointment. I see they're open on Saturdays, but do they tune then? Or is the shop just open to sell parts?

It would be a very far drive for you but Fonse Performance is a very good place to goto here in south jersey. its in sicklerville

They basically do everything. There a machine shop, build custom engines, they have an engine dyno and also have a chassis (its a mustang not dynojet) dyno. Only bad thing is they dont use SCT, only sniper and maybe diablo.

If you already have an SCT tuner, they can use SCT but its an extra $300.

I like them because of their great customer service.
