NJ Tail Lights?

Is there a law in NJ prohibiting Smoked out tail lights? I'm just playing it safe before I go and do it. Since NJ has a law about everything else

YEAHH im from jersey too...im livin in pa now for school and its so much better laws than nj. i just tinted mine a few weeks ago here in pa and wen i go back to nj next week lets hope i dont get a ticket lol......btw anyone from north jersey??

I live in Englishtown about 1/2 a mile from racway park. My friend has a white Vette with smoked tails(it almost looks black) and he has never been pulled over for them... Hes had them for about a year..

im from manalapan about 5 minutes away from raceway park. we should all meet up there in the spring for a track day.

i have smoked heaadlights and no front license plate and havent been pulled over in the 2 weeks that ive had them lol

I live in Jersey too, and I can't possibly understand why that would be illegal, its not like the lights aren't visible just because they're smoked.
