Cars needed for photo shoot.

A friend of mine is shooting a swimsuit calendar and I have persuaded him to consider shooting a mustang calendar with the same models. This calendar will consist only of 2005+ Mustangs/GT500s. The photo shoots will be in the NY area and I know there are alot of members locally that have some amazing looking cars. If you are interesteed send me a PM with the details of your car and maybe a link to some pictures. Compensation is unclear at this time but to have a picture of your car in a calendar with a bikini babe posing next to it sounds pretty good to me. All participants will receive calendars. If I had anything done to the exterior of my car I might try to have mine in there as well.

keep in mind if you havent checked and before you dump to much money into the idea there was a company that got a phone call from ford lawyers about a mustang calender.

Thanks for all the responses. Im going to put everyone that sent me an email address on a mailing list with updates. As for models im always open to reviewing your photos. to everyone that responded i will PM you back ASAP once i get enough posts to be able to PM. Im on alot of other boards but i just joined this one and I have gotten the most positive responses from people interested in here.

As far as the lawsuits go. I dont know how Ford could sue someone making a calendar unless they used unauthorized or images owned by ford. From a legal standpoint i would say once someone purchases that car it is their property and so are any photographs taken of the car. Possibly the ford logo would have to be covered up. If that isnt the case then any company shooting for magazines or tv shows would have to pay royalties to every car manufacturer that has a car somewhere in the footage. That seems crazy.

I did some research on that BMC calendar topic and they did run into some issues. The issue was with CafePress which is the company printing them. Ford simply said that any Trademarked images or Logos cannot be reproduced and used on material sold for profit. The images of the car itself are property of the owner of the vehicle. Dont be shy folks we are giong to make a great calendar.

You'll have to cover the logos (ever notice that every TV show and movie you watch has the logos concealed unless it's a paid placement?), but with the 05+ Mustangs... there aren't all that many logos to begin with. You shouldn't have much trouble putting a skimpy bikini over the running horse on the grill.
