BEWARE! Of Horse Power Connection! They destroyed My Mustang
Who are they: Horse Power Connection (horsepowerconnectiondotcom)
What do they do: Supposed to "professionally" build race cars Where they are located: 3939 12th Ave Building 2 Unit "C" Lacey, WA 98503 360-455-7252<b> They took $5,400 from me to build my car in which I had saved many OT work hours to afford the build, and built me an unsafe half put together car that caught on fire on my drive home, I spoke with another customer who had the same issue with his turbo BMW they built. I am lucky to have put the fire out and save the car, I am lucky myself and no one around me was injured or killed. It was a big loss financially but a great Lesson learned in character and ethics! I can write all day long about all the shoddy work I found wrong but here is a short list; * destroyed my Brand new alternator by grounding it out with a timing light (these guys are idiots! I should have taken my car back home after witnessing it.) * Killed my brand new Red top Battery by leaving the key on! * Fuel lines loose * Electrical wires wrapped around fuel lines (fire waiting to happen) * Turbo charger oil feed line lying on top of the Hot side (caused the fire!) * Loose nuts and bolts * Missing tranny bolt * took my near flawless Mustang and got oil stains all over my interior * scratched my fenders from not using fender shields at all times! (I showed up UN-announced and witnessed this) * Bent up my motor mount flanges * made the wiring look like garbage! Laying everywhere * Spark plug wires bent up beyond 90 degree radius held by ZIP Ties!! * Before I could get it home the car ran to 260 degrees so I shut it down and had to have it towed 60 Miles Home! it turns out their shoddy wire work melted on the headers and took out my Spal controller! (Killed my fan wiring) I took it to them like this: Wont alow me to post pics? And got this back: Wont alow me to post pics? * Notice the right side, yeah I didn't get it all in the pic but that's a pile of wires ran very cheap and shoddy! * And the Turbo oil feed line lying on top of the hot side! Yeah that caught on fire. IDIOTS!! * Also the Plug wires are bent up and ZIP TIED together! * If you look above I will point out more issues * they hacked a jagged ugly hole in my fender well to put my turbo piping through and didn't bother to clean it up! the intake is riding on my Caster cambers and dug a hole into the intake pipe * if you look closely my PTS-76mm Turbo That I sent back to Precision to have polished for $400 was all scratched up and destroyed these guys don’t care about protecting your investment and why should they? All they want to do is push product out the door! Spread the word don’t let this be you or any of your buddies getting screwed Make the best decision on where you bring your ride Now I’m doing this to fix it: Wont alow me to post pics? Worst of all they had my car for 6 MONTHS!!! And this is what I get back! If this shop disappears today the car world would be a safer place IF YOU WOULD LIKE COPIES OF CONSUMER COMPLAINTS TOWARDS HPCONNECTION OR THE EMAILS BACK AND FORTH WITH ALL OF the Broken promises on our "deal" please email me I will send them to you. Gobs bless all my red blooded, fast car driving American brothers and sisters out there. Be Careful to whom you trust your car too. |

Wow you should get a new car for that with everything you had in it. Can BAR do anything about it?
