MMR Rear seat delete
So I was very disappointed with this. I didnt think 'lightweight' meant 'crap'
Theyre paper thin boards, tabs showing everywhere, the wooden dowels they gave me didnt even line up with the bottom piece, it sits too high, theres a huge gap in the middle. just a shit product. Not worth $129 or any of my time.

and the carpet is only stapled along the edges, not even glued down to the board so it will start to get wrinkles in it

Yeah, with what i heard about mmr's products, im pretty disappointed. I was going for a clean seatless look, not a half-assed job that it looks like i did myself. I understand the lightweight part, but they could have done a better job for $130

same problem's here. if you are thinking about buying this rear seat delete, save your money (sorry American Muscle, but you guy's should be ashamed of yourselves for selling such a piece of shit product, upon recieving it, that was the last order I'll be making from you guy's) there are much better product's out there.

here are some. you kind of have to see how shitty the quality is for yourself, even though i hope none of you do. the carpet was also stapled on, i threw some elmers spray adhesive on mine, the boards too.. they're paper thin like..i dunno, .25 in. and that particle board shit, you also have to put something in the center so the middle doesnt sag as much, i would have shown you guys but i had a magnet in a good spot so i didnt want to fuck with it. and those bolts at the back arent hidden either.. and the middle one is still missing. i should break it off, but i dunno. also, the back piece just rests on the bottom piece, so if you move it at all it kind of gets wedged inbetween the back and the bottom.
here they are anyway ![]() ![]() ![]()

wow we were thinking of get that for the race car but we just made an aluminum instead.
For a street car i can see how everyone would be uspet for a full race car im not sure why you would need "clean" look anyway we no longer have the plastic interior panles on either side of this delet so looking at it now it would have been a waste of money I will say this though we have a bunch a parts from MM on our car and they are great, maybe its there intrerior that sucks but there suspension parts a awsome

I think we're talking about two different companies, Maximum Motorsports are suspension and all that, Modular Mustang Racing is the kit that i bought. I just bought a bunch of Maximum Motorsports stuff and it came packed amazingly well plus all instructions and everything.

Just make one yourself, its easy and cheap.
Hardest part is getting the cuts right on the bottom piece on the sides. Just get about 3-4 pieces of foam board from WalMart to make the cuts. Start by making a cut you know will not fit, put it up aginist the edge and begin to trim. Once you have both sides cut measure the length of the whole board on the front corners, mark it on a piece of plywood and cut it. Then lay down the templates you made on the board, and cut the shapes. This is a "rough" guide... let me know if you want more detail

ya i used a posterboard to make a outline of the side and everything. then measured widths. transfered them to 3/8'' plywood that sighns are made of and then used 3M 95 adhesive glue then stappled it to the back. used black outdoor marine carpet from homedepot. best fitting one i have ever seen and i can sit on mine and not bend it or anything. total cost was around 25 bucks for everything. i had wood allready. and took about 4 hours.

Wish I saw this ad before I purchased my MMR delete. None of the holes lined up and the hardware was not as described and did not reach. The delete was also large on both the top and bottom by almost a full inch. Had to remove the carpet, trim and redrill then add proper hardware. Would have been easier to do from scratch.
Once I fixed all the issues it`s reasonable.
