i almost bought the steeda tri-ax but decided to go with the hurst billet plus shifter & it has a really short throw & is a self centering shifter with fully adjustable stops.. i haven't missed third yet..

i haven't driven a stang with the steeda shifter yet but i'm sure it's top notch as well.. i really like steeda parts!

this is an old thread but i was looking for more information on the steeda triax and it brought me to this site (how weird) but after hearing all the replies, i now know that this is the shifter for me. i miss third like i was born to do it, and this shifter finding third for you is pretty much the greatest news of my life!

If the short throw shifters are spring loaded, how does that affecting the ability to downshift on road courses?
