unhappy w/ AM product ...

Mustang White Face Gauges and Chrome Rings Combo Kit (99-04 V6) - SAVE $10 at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

I thought id try this combo out and see if i liked it well ...

i could only get 2 of the chrom rings to stay in place, they did not fit right anyways, and after adjusting my speedo needle about 6 or 7 times i gave up on making the white gauges work ... plus the dimmer was a seperate switch that looked like shit and had no where to go but hang ....

very unhappy w/ these products they are stack racing brand btw

Have you contacted AM customer service or even AMStanger about the products? They might be able to help you out with an exchange (they usually pay all the shipping) for the same product if you think your's are defective.

well w/ the reviews of the rings i think they all suck as it is, most people have to glue them in, for some reason that was the 1 item i didnt read reviews on ... nothings faulty, just very "cheap" parts if i need to watch my language here

the rings need to be super glued in, they fit poorly and are a bitch to get in if your lens doesnt remove, and almost as hard if you lens seperates lol, they look good once glued in though.

All you need is super glue and some small clamps. But they should mention that on their site.

The sequential tail lights I got from AM are Stack racing, and I have had no problems with them.

I have a few stack racing things and all the others are fine too. And so
are the rings. AM is just vauge on the details.

I bought the rings the 4 small ones all snapped right in the two big ones i had to glue which took some time. I didnt want any glue leaking and they didnt mash up all the way but now that they are in it looks good.

That is strange. I got the white face gauges w/o the chrome rings and had zero problems at all. I just slid them on adjust the needles the way the stack instructions said to and then we screwed it back in. The only minor flaw is that where the bright lights and the blinker lights are, you can see a tiny speck of white where it was barely uneven. As far as the dimmer switch, what we did was just wire it to come out where the fuse box is under the steering wheel and used some electrical tape to hold it in,

Ahem, american muscle does stand behind their product. I dont really see how you expect them to cover your friends wheel when he had them over a year. He could have damaged them or may have been unsafe chemicals to clean them with.

Good for you, standing up for what you believe, even though you are dead wrong, and ignorant. The company would not be so popular if they did 'screw people over' as you are inferring.

I've been dealing with AM for years. I've never had a problem with them at all for anything or any reason. I've called numerous times, emailed numerous times, everything.

Hell, when they email me saying my order is shipped, before UPS has the tracking information available, the package is at my door. I don't even have to do guaranteed 3 day shipping to get the stuff to me. It's there in two to three days no matter what.

I must say, AM is great, and always has been.

Maybe one of their people were rude to you because YOU were rude to them? Maybe? Possibly?
