pacesetter Longtube header review 1996 pi swap

hey guys so i had some pacesetter headers installed on my 1996 auto with a pi swap and since pacesetter is a cheaper brand and most people badmouth it without ever providing any real world proof of them not working.
the part number used was 70-3230 I believe and I acquired them for 150 dollars via amazon.com. I bought ford oem MLS gaskets for them instead of the paper one supplied.

the 70-3230 longtube headers comes with
-gasket
-wiring and shrink tubing to extend 02 sensors.
-pacesetter stickers ()

anyways like most people said in previous threads my mechanic had a bitch of a time doing the headers but nothing that wasnt expected.

The headers sound and feels great, i would reccomend them to anyone looking to avoid spending 400+ on a set of headers. while i hear everyone say only the expensive brands fit these ones fit just fine from what i can see.
It seems these headers clear everything just fine.
I had the shop fab me up a custom X pipe to route to my side pipes and it sounds crazy, never thought my 2v would sound like such a beast

props to pacesetter for making an affordable alternative

EDIT: Only design flaw as far as i can see is that on my automatic the upstream 02 sensor bungs are located on the inside of the primary which interferes with the transmission ( I assume this is not the case with the 5 speed since its probably a bit smaller)
Took about 5 minutes for my exhaust guy to seal up the old one and weld a bung a couple inches down the primary.

80 somethin views and no response..... well i guess you all enjoy paying 500+ extra dollars on headers to achieve similar if not the same end results

I am getting ready to put some of this same brand of headers on my 96 Cobra and I have heard nothing but bad things about them. Can any one say exactly what the problem is with them? Is it the weld quality? If that is the only problem, that will not be a problem for me as I have been a exotic metals welder for over twenty years. I have bought some of the most expensive brands out and still had to reweld them due to crappy quality. So is that the only problem with them? Or is it just that poor of a fit up? Please let me know.

honestly the only issue with mine was the 02 bungs had to be relocated, other than that they fit just fine, also im lowered with eibach sportlines and ive never had an issue with the collectors scraping or anything like that. Great headers for the price.

only REAL issue ive heard with them (other than key-board mechanics just bashing them with no real world evidence to back up outlandish claims) is that on some of the ls1/lt1 models early in production the area around the primaries would rust out but ive heard they fixed that issue quite a while back.

Thanks for the info man. I will use the money I save on the headers for a more feature rich nos kit

Other than flow characteristics of the primaries & the O2 bungs needing relocated I can't seem to find a fault in them... I have a '96 Stang GT 5spd & I'm sure these headers will do just fine! Thanks for the helpful review bro...
